This soft cover publication recounts the life of Welsh Hills-born sculptor Thomas D. Jones. Perhaps best known in Ohio for his bust of Abraham Lincoln and the Civil War Monument, both of which are displayed in the Ohio Statehouse, Jones spent his artistic career in Cincinnati, on the East Coast, and finally in Columbus. This booklet was written by Wm. C. Stewart and recounts Jones' life, and also includes two articles written by Jones, “Memories of Lincoln” and “How Statues Are Made.”
