Can you help us?

As Refresh is humming along with the support of volunteers, members, and donors, we could use your help to put on the finishing touches. Below are things that we still need. Please let the Refresh committee chair, Evelyn Frolking, know if you have any of the following items to donate or purchase for your museum. Thank you for helping to re-envision the Granville Historical Society Museum!

An 85" inch smart television is needed for the Robinson Room. It will function as a monitor for videos that tell the stories of Granville's history. As visitors finish their journey through the museum, they are invited to rest and relax on comfortable furniture while they are informed and engaged by the stories of Granville's history. The approximate purchase price with a mounting bracket is $1,500.

A love seat size couch and two matching chairs is also needed for creating the viewing space by the television in the Robinson Room. The approximate purchase price is $2,700, or we would consider a donation that fits the new aesthetic of the space.

A small desk-sized table is needed for the new lobby where volunteers welcome visitors, start the tours, and handle sales from the bookstore. We would be interested in a table donation or the approximate purchase price of $900.

Period 1950's valences are needed for the additional windows in the re-envisioned 1950's Oese Robinson kitchen exhibit. The charming curtains in the exhibit's former space were made by Barb Martin in 2012. The approximate purchase price is $150.

Finally, two window boxes from any woodworkers in the museum family would be greatly appreciated.
