My Bloody Valentine: Tales of Love and Mayhem from Granville

Granville and its bucolic environs have long been seen as the perfect setting for romance to blossom.  Yet sprinkled through the pages of local history,  are tales of love gone bad that rocked the local community.  Local historian Kevin Bennett and GPL librarian Julia Walden relates some of these stories straight from the headlines of The Times and Sentinel newspapers to mark the Valentine season.
