RENEW, RE-ENVISION, REMODEL, REVITALIZE, RESTORE

The Charge: To revisit and renew the museum’s physical exhibit spaces to modernize the way we present Granville’s history to the 21st century visitor.

OUR GOALS FOR 2025

-- Build, Paint, Update the Museum. Complete the Refresh Initiative to update and modernize both the 1816 bank building and its 1955 additions. With $55,000 of the $74,500 needed already raised from multiple sources, a portion of this year’s Annual Fund will support this project.

-- Address operating costs to protect and maintain the museum and its holdings over the course of a year.

-- Meet the known and unexpected needs of our mission: “As the community's collective memory, the Granville Historical Society acquires, preserves, and shares Granville's past with residents and visitors to inspire curiosity about, instill knowledge of, and foster a commitment to our history.
